Alison Wonderland (born Alexandra Margo Sholler) is a DJ and electronic dance music producer and producer hailing from Australia. The career of Tolman began in 2014 in which she played the lead character of FX's Black comedy crime series Fargo. Fargo, the 1996 Coen Brothers movie, featured Billy Bob Thornton (as Molly Solverson), Martin Freeman (as Bob Odenkirk) and Bob Odenkirk. Tolman was recognized for her performance as Minnesota police officer Molly Solverson. Vanity Fair said that Tolman "calmly took over" the show. Critics' Choice Television Award Best Supporting Actress in a Movie/Miniseries. Nominations for Best Actress categories at Emmy Awards, Golden Globes and Critics TV Awards. Tolman was also a guest spot on The Mindy Show playing Abby Berman a romance writer. The actress was a supporter in Michael Dougherty's thriller Krampus. Tolman was turned down for character roles as supporting actors like best friends, spouses, and mothers after her first big role on Fargo. The actress was searching for a unique role. Tolman was a part of ABC's Downward Dog based off the Animal Media Group webseries. The show ended after one year. Tolman was a part of the ABC drama series Emergence that began airing on September 24, 2019, and was cancelled after a single season, on May 21, 2020, despite getting "pretty decent" ratings according to Tolman via Twitter. She was also a guest star on NBC's Good Girls. In 2021, she starred as Alma Filcott in the second season of the drama show Why Women Kill, and played Natalie Green in The Facts of Life part in the third episode of Live in Front of a Studio Audience.
